Job Title: Director, Corporate Systems
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Los Angeles)
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM
Salary Range: $157,000 - $195,000 annually
Position Summary:
The Corporate Systems Director will play a pivotal role in identifying gaps in existing corporate processes and tools, creating strategic product roadmaps to address those gaps, and overseeing the implementation of these roadmaps across multiple business functions. This position requires a collaborative leader who can drive synergies across corporate teams and establish best practices that mature the organization's corporate systems and business process flow.
As the subject matter expert and program manager, the Director will oversee a portfolio of applications, ensuring they are aligned with corporate objectives and delivering business value. This includes project scoping, requirements gathering, test planning, implementation orchestration, and performing light application configuration as necessary to deliver enhancements and resolve issues. The Director will also lead efforts to continuously optimize business processes within the corporate services domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gap Analysis & Roadmap Development: Identify inefficiencies or gaps in current processes and systems. Build, prioritize, and implement product roadmaps that address these gaps.
- Program Management: Lead and execute programs that align with the product roadmap, ensuring successful delivery within timelines and business objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships with business teams to ensure the alignment of tools and processes, driving synergies across the organization.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the go-to expert for a range of corporate systems, including HR Tech, Corporate Services, and tools like Workday, ServiceNow, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), and Everbridge. Oversee both ongoing support and system implementation.
- Project Leadership: Scope and define project requirements, manage timelines, and coordinate resources for successful project delivery. Perform test planning and manage the implementation process.
- Process Design & Optimization: Lead the design and re-design of corporate business processes, focusing on improving efficiency, response times, and overall organizational performance.
- Application Configuration & Support: Conduct light configuration tasks, provide application maintenance support, and develop support models to address issues and deliver enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience with applications and tools supporting Facilities, Real Estate and Leasing Management, Security Operations, Environmental Health & Safety, and/or HR functions like recruiting, learning & development, and HR business partner operations.
- Process & Business Knowledge: In-depth understanding of corporate services processes, including employee onboarding/offboarding, office build-outs, occupancy management, employee and visitor management, emergency notification systems, and general operations.
- Application Support Experience: Proven experience providing support and maintenance for enterprise applications, including designing and managing support models.
- Project Management Expertise: Strong background in project management, including experience leading complex projects, ensuring timely delivery, and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Business Process Design: Expertise in business process design and re-design, with a focus on improving efficiency and aligning processes with business objectives.
- Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings, present to stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of technology experience, ideally within Corporate Operations and/or Services.
- Media & Entertainment industry experience is preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Workday experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Desired Skills:
- Tool Agnostic: While familiarity with specific tools (Workday, ServiceNow, Atlassian, etc.) is valued, the ideal candidate should be able to work across various systems, not relying on any one application or resource.
- Technical Background: Must possess a technical background with the ability to engage with multiple internal stakeholders to research, procure, and source solutions.
- Hands-On Leadership: Ability to roll up your sleeves, engage directly with stakeholders, and drive change across the organization.
